Most likely problem is that the removal of the battery triggered the immobilizer system, and this is preventing the car from starting. You may need to find the reset procedure for your specific model and year to get the car up and running.

If i take long distance maybe stop at the garage ma honda ballade 150i model 99 won't start until jumpstart by another car what could be the coz for that.

This could be a alternator that is not charging good or battery or starter or a bad wire or battery connection.

this is easy to figure out , first drive the distance you do and stop at a shop. then try to start car, if car does not start then have them first test the battery to see if it is low, then have them jump it and test alternator, if the battery is good and the alternator is putting out the correct amps then next check starter. if the starter is getting the 12.8 volts and the small wire is also getting the voltage with key in start postion then starter is bad, but with car not starting a shop will find the problem.

2005 Town & Country Van dead battery after short trips

Possible dead cell in battery, most likely a fault in the charging system. First, Jump Vehicle to get started then remove the Negative cable. If the vehicle dies when you take the jumper cables away or when you disconnect the negative cable your alternator or charging system is faulty. If the vehicle runs without battery connected you have a bad cell in your battery, replace the battery.

Suspected immobiliser problem

Immobilizer unit is connected in series with the neutral safety switch.

Next time your Luxes GS fail to start.....put you foot on the brake, shift to NEUTRAL (N) and turn the key.

A shorting/shorted neutral will draw power and kill the battery.

Give it a try.

Please post result on the comment window.

Wont turn over after new starter fitted hv can only jump start by turning over at starter

hello there, i was wondering if your starter has a solenoid attached on top of it? if in which case it has, on the solenoid you'll possibly see 2 hex screws on the rear portion of the solenoid. a size 12mm hex screw. attached to one of the screw is a short wire guage 8 or guage 6 coming out of the starter. the other screw should be directly attached to the positive terminal of the battery using a heavy guage battery cable. a protruding terminal with a philipps screw or a terminal lug connector is for the starter switch. you could test you starter if you attach a guage 14 wire from that terminal lug and try to directly swipe it on the positive terminal of the battery. warning! this might produce sparks. keep flameable solvents, gasoline and other materials that might ignite away from your testing area. be careful, the heavy ampere output of the battery can burn cables instantly. so do try to keep the positive cables away from the body of the starter which is the negative side of your starter.

Fails to start Ford Fiesta Freestyle 2002

This may be a bad connection of the battery cables to the battery. I would remove them and clean them both.
Question - If you jump start the car when this happens, does it start right away or still buzz? If yes, then I lean toward battery connections or battery. Also, when this happens, turn on the headligts and see if they remain bright when the key is turned to "start". If yes, then iI lean towrds a bad battery connection or an internal, intermittent short in the battery.
If you know how to jumper the starter under the hood by a jumper wire from the battery to the small wire to the starter solenoid, that would bypass the ignition switch "start" circuit. If it starts then, I would replace the ignition switch. Good luck. please report progress.

The battery may need to be replaced, the battery is not holding a charge or you didn't run car long enough. Try boosting again and let the car run for about 1/2 an hour to 1 hr. Then try to start the next day. If it doesn't start you will need a new battery. Even when you don't drive this vehicle especially in the winter time you should start this car and let it run for about 10 minutes once every week. Good Luck contact me if you need more help
