Torque converter ta

Torque converter is located in the bell houseing of the gear box (Automatic) You need to remove the inspection cover from the bottom of the bell houseing & it has several bolts attaching it to the flywheel (ring gear) of the engine. You will need to turn the motor by hand to get all those bolts. Then you have to remove the whole gearbox. then you can remove the converter from the bell houseing. MAKE SURE IGNITION IS OFF WHEN TURNING MOTOR BY HAND

I have a 2004 jeep grand cherekee laredo with a bad crank sensor.i can start truck but it stalls right away.i m trying to find sensor to replace it,all the diagrams ive looked at are useless.i simply cant...

what is the size of your engine and model. did you call or go to auto-zone they should be able to give you a diagram or tell you where it is. if all fails you can always go to dealer for a diagram of sensor, this should be at no cost to you. have a good day !!

Trying to change a stater cant find the bolts on top

the top bolts come in from the rear of the bell housing. They these bolts mount both the bell housing to the block and the starter motor to the block. Under neath just line up wich mount bolts are close to the starter and undo them, possibly 2 that hold them. once remove starter should fall straight into your hand

The Bell housing is the cover of your flywheel---it's attached between the engine and transmission and is shaped like a bell.

Cant find the location of the thermostat 2000 silverado 4.3 engin

Follow your Upper Radiator Hose to the Motor. It will Connect to a Bell Housing that is Mounted on the Top of the Block. Remove this Bell Housing and the Thermostat is Underneath the Bell Housing. Install the New one the EXACT same way that this one can out. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

Thermostat

Just follow the Upper Radiator Hose from the Radiator the the Motor and where it attaches to the Motor there is a Bell housing. Reove the Hose and Bell Housing and it is Underneath the Bell Housing. Looks just like a U.F.O.

I cant find the starter inside my car.

The bell housing of your gear box is bolted to the engine. Either at the front or rear of the engine you will find the starter motor bolted to the engine adjacent to the bell housing for your gearbox. The starter motor has to engage with the flywheel to start your car and the clutch is also bolted to the fly wheel.
