1) Make sure the battery is delivering power to the starting system.

2) If not, check the battery cable connection to the battery for corrosion. If found clean them up and reattach.

3) At some point make sure the battery has enough power.

I would guess starter fuse first, then starter. When you turn key, if you don't hear a click, you should focus your attention on the fuse first and then the starter. If you hear a click, then most likely (80%) its the starter solenoid. try to start the car in neutral to rule out the neutral safety switch...good luck

the car will not start if the immo light is not lit. sometimes turning the key back and forth or removing it and locking then unlocking the car can sometimes remedy this.

Car suddenly stop no electric current

Check for burnt blackened or melted or arc corrosion on the ignition switch wires in the passenger compartment. You could have an electrical "defeat" that prevents the car from starting until the ignition is turned on and you can't turn the car on with the bad wires.

Kia rio stars and shuts off.

How did you test spark? Did you test the coils with multimeter etc for resistance at least. 12V.

Check the ignition switch.
2.) Also if the timing belt jumped teeth this could cause your symptoms as well.
