They haven't use speedo cables since the late 80's early 90's ! everything is electronic , Car has a vehicle speed sensor that is a input to the engine computer , this next part mite be hard to under stand ! The vehicle has a class 2 serial data communication network ! the instrument cluster an the engine are on the same data network an share info on it , all the gauges get there information on the data bus! Google class 2 serial data bus ! Understanding UART And Class 2 Serial Data Bus Configurations For Modules... If your speedometer isn't working it is more then likely the speedometer it self is bad !

The heater core is located under the dash, in the center. The container holding the core looks like a black plastic box. Remove the ash tray for easier access. You may have to also remove some other covers under the dash. You must first drain the radiator then you have to disconnect the hoses. There are two hoses connected to nipples of the heater core that go thru the center of the firewall. Remove the screws that hold on the cover to the heater core. Then you should be able to get the old one out. There might be a couple of other minor steps but I'm sure you can figure them out. For re-installation just go in reverse order to put it all back together.

Yes it's on the right side othe transmission just above the passenger side cv axle. You most likley need to send the cluster off and have it checked. Model Electronics in NY.
