Press and hold the Odo/Trip button. Turn the ignition switch to the On position. Hold the Odo/Trip button for two seconds. Release the Odo/Trip button and then immediately press it again, release it, press it, release it and then press it and hold it. Hold the button until the leveling information is displayed on the odometer, about five seconds. You can take this munnar call taxi for any tours and travels program of your family. I drive a Nissan 1400 bakkie (not a champ) i drives good and then starts jerking and wants to die as soon i i give petrol it sounds like its smothering

hi, personally ..i love that bakkie. Ok you changed points condensor, petrol filter! please check.. When it cuts out 1. if the ignition coil is not hot, if so thats your problem.2. also on the carb... over the needle and seat there is a tiny filter... somtimes gets blocked. 3. also check when it stolls if the fuel pump is not hot or pull the outlet fuel from the pump
and crank the engine... note if fuel comes out sufficiently.

Fuel gauge doesn't work. went on vacation and left nissan parked with all but empty fuel tank. When I returned and filled up, the gauge wouldn't register. Stuck???

Hit the top of the dash with your hand. if not you will have to check the wiring before you can tell if it is the fuel gauge or sender in the tank. This is not a commen problem.

My fuel tank almost empty. I filled the tank, but the fuel gauge remained on empty and the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light came on. A few days later, the fuel gauge began working properly again. I took the...

I had the same problem since May with my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder brough it to my dealer 4 times during the course if 3 mos. Then I finally called Nissan Consumer and filed a complaint. Since this was due to a recall that was done to my car, there was no charge. They had to put a whole new fuel gauge sensor. I suggest to take it to a Nissan dealer because there is a recall for Fuel Gauge faulty reading that was put out in March or so 2010, so your car would qualify for the recall at no cost to the customer.
