If your oil is black you should get an oil change and filter. Since you are asking it would be a good idea to change your air filter and clean out the air filter box. Add some injector Fluid to tank.

Black engine oil is a sign of old oil...drain and fill including oil filter, and check again...depending on driving habits...change every 3,000 (4 months) for city driving...every 7500 for city/highway or every 4 months...your oil is the "lifeblood" of your motor...also check/change the PCV valve for proper air filtering to your oil...Hope this helps.

Oil leaking or burning

this can be very simple to solve, after you've driven the car for,say,20 miles or maybe even 15 miles, place a piece of plain brown cardboard under the motor on ground.under the motor.make sure the engines not running, just slide the cardboard under the motor on the can even put a big piece under the whole front of car, from side to side. your whole motor is in front, including the transmission. black fluid is oil leak, red fluid is transmission fluid. if your engines burning oil, then you'll be adding oil to your engine constantly. depending on how often you drive your vehicle. just remember black fluids oil leak, red fluids, transmission fluid leak. if your motors smoking black while running, that's oil burning with your gas. you may only have a simple issue, your check engine light on? autozone or advance auto parts store can read the codes for free!! thank you,for choosing

Oil turn black after travelling for 30 km even after putting the new oil why

do this the oil is turning black due to sludge build up in the motor. change the oil and filter buy 1 quart of rislone come in an quart bottle like oil use this in place of 1 regular quart of oil. drive for about 250 miles then change oil and filter again this will remove all sludge build up in your engine. then your oil will stay clean for a normal interval with out turning black.
i use this in any car i buy and it always works.

Removal oil pan nissan trrrano

hello, you will have to take motor mounts loose, jack up the motor in the front, should be able to drop oil pan, watch when jacking motor up, so you dont break nothing, or pull anything loose, probably good time to replace oil pump also, if it has a lot of miles on motor, when putting back together, use the black silicone, dont use the red or blue, they will not last a long as the black, nissian carrys the black silicone it is pretty expensive but its worth it,red and blue silicone starts leaking after a while, they wont hold up no where near as long as the black,

On top of the engine you will find a rectangular aluminum cover (it may be bare aluminum or painted flat black). This cover is about 2 feet long and about 5 inches wide. On the top of this cover you will find a round black plastic cap. The cap may have the word OIL on it, or it may has text describing what type of oil to use. Remove this cap by turning it counter clockwise. Pour the oil into the hole the cap covers.

Black oil

Possible scenarios

1. Oil never changed by shop.

2. Old oil was extremely dirty and when changed (way overdue) the sludge in engine and residual oil darkened the clean oil making it look dirty. If its an issue to you some places offer a motor oil flush service.
