99 ranger 3.0 did a fuel pressure test 55 psi running shut it off bleeds down to 45psi still the same tried injector cleaner no change dont wanna spend money on parts it don't need

Sounds like pressure is low. Could be bad Fuel pressure regulator. You need to be sure of the fuel pressure specifications. The pressure regulator could be tested with air and gague. If it is not the regulator, then your fuel pump is not able to deliver the fuel needed, or the fuel filter is so badly blocked that the pump can't get the fuel through the filter fast enough to supply the system at the required pressure.

Its a 1999 chevy tahoe. Changed fuel pump twice.

Could be the pressure regulator on the fuel rail. Pull the vacuum line off the regulator and check it for fuel contamination. There should not be gas in the line. If there is fuel in that line the regulator is bad and needs replaced.

99 tahoe back fires only when starting it does not pass mog

I STARTED EXPLAINING THE WHOLE THING TO YOU AND THIS APP KICKED ME OUT. ILL TRY IT AGAIN. THE SPIDER (INJECTOR ASSEMBLY) HAD LOTS OF ISSUES. IM ASSUMING THIS TRUCK HAS 4.3 OR A 5.7 IN IT. THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR IS PART OF THE ASSEMBLY. IT LEAKS FUEL INTO THE LOWER INTAKE. THERES LOTS OF SENSORS BUT KNOWING THE INSPECTION STUFF THEY MAKE YOU PASS IM ASSUMING O2 PROBS. THE REGULATOR WILL LEAK RUNNING OR NOT. THIS WILL CAUSE YOUR STARTING ISSUE AND A O2 PROBLEM. REPLACE THE INJECTOR ASSEMBLY REGULATOR AND ALL. HOPE THIS HELPS

Is there a return hose that plugs into the fuel pressure regulator of my 99 chevy tahoe 350 5.7 vortec?

The regulator located inside the plastic intake plenum? There is no hose. They just work off the vacuum present inside there.

What is the fuel pressure spec for a 2004 tahoe with 5.3 flex fuel. I have low power. Changed fuel filter, air filter and oil and still no power. Checked fuel pressure and had about 43 psi. not sure what...

I would change the fuel pressure regulator first, if no change in pressure the fuel pump is on the way out.I have a 01 silverado 4.8 and my fuel pressure is between 55and60 psi.

99 tahoe 5.7 wont start

your fuel pressure is suppose to be 60 - 66 psi. first replace fuel filter.and check vacuum line going to fuel pressure regulator.make sure vacuum is going to vacuum line.if changing fuel filter dont help. fuel pump could be faulty.

Vacuum line for fuel pressure regulator 98 Tahoe

Was there a hose on the old one? If not, you don't have one. It is most likely your fuel pump if you are not getting fuel.

replace your MAP sensor(manifold absolute pressure) the map sensor is the computer for your fuel pressure regulator telling how much pressure. Unless your tahoe runs like **** going up hill than it inevitably your fuel pump

Try reading that, it might be part of your problem... and if you already replaced it then check your Ignition control module...
