How do I fold down the rear seats in a Renault Modus

airbag line , computer or airbag unit is faulty. repairing the fault will rectify the message. its probable that if the vehicle was not in an accident that it is a line probably under the passenger seat. play with the wires under seats with the ignition on and see if at any point the light disappears, if so repair that set of wiring as plugs corrode

Probably needs to be serviced the fan motor gets dusty and came make the noise.

To fold-down rear seat on 2007 Chevy Malibu, follow these steps:
1. Open the trunk
2. Pull on one or both the handles located on the upper side of the trunk
3. The handle located on the driver's side will unlatch the bigger part of the read seat
4. The handle on the passenger side will fold down the smaller portion of the rear seat.
5. Once done, you will have a seat that's nicely folded down.

Replacing a dipped head light bulb on a Renault Modus.

Having recently purchased a 2008 Modus with the passenger side dipped beam head light bulb not working. Concerned that posts on this matter talked about removing several body parts or a costly visit to the Renault dealer.

It's a simple 10 minute job. It is a little tricky with limited access and restricted view. However - its as simlpe as - remove circular cover from rear of bulb holder - remove the clip on connecter and push to side. You need to pull the wire clip above the bulb slightly to the side from its holding and it flips down and out of the way Be careful not to detach the clip from its holding points below the bulb - it's extra hassle to put back in.
You can now remove the old bulb - replace with the new bulb. Make sure its sitting correctly in housing. Re attach the clip to its holding point above the bulb. Replace the connector.Replace the circular cover to the rear of the bulb holder.

It takes 10 minutes - cost me under five pounds for the replacement bulb. Hope this helps.

The rear seat backs do not fold down in these trucks, the seat bottom lifts up to gain access to the compartments below but the seat back does not fold down. The only thing you can do is physically remove the rear seats.
