My 87 Honda accord lxi won't start some times. It acts like it's not getting fuel. Is it the main relay??? Also when driving the PbM-fi light comes on. What does that light mean?

I would definitely start with a pgm-fi relay they are prone to failure.
they are however tucked way up under the dash

HI...
On you Honda Accord the main relay is located.
On left side of dash, under the Instrument Panel. Left side of the Steering Column.
To get axces You will need to Remove the Cruise Control Module. That is attached with 2, 10mm screws. one on the Steering column, the other one at the dash braket.
after you remove the cruise control module, you will see a Little Box Gray colour, Is a Relay more biger than a Regular Relay.
The NUMBER on the RELAY is : RZ0088.

The main relay on 1992 Accords are considered a dual relay. It controls both the ECU and the fuel pump in tandem.

This sounds like a shorted spark plug wire or a bad spark plug.

98 Accord won't start

Check the main relay-PGM-FI Main Relay, called a fuel injector relay(a gray little box with a plug at the end). To make sure it is a bad relay, do this: Turn the key to II, listen for a humming sound from behind you. It is a fuel pump working. You should hear a click under the dash after it. It is a main relay click . If you do not hear a click, you car will not start. If you do hear a click, you car will start.
Fix is to take the relay out, resolder the joints and put it back in. Go on www. MarkLamond.co.uk and http://techauto.awardspace.com both sites will show you how to resolder the main relay and where it is located if it is the PGM-FI Main relay.

My 87 honda accord starts when it feels like it, usually acts up when hot or wet outside, can shoot starting fluid in engine and it will start then stall, if keep shooting starting fluid it will eventually...

This problem is the main efi relay located on driver side way up under dash it says main relay right on it! I usually can open them up and resolder the poor solder joints that have small rings around it (may need magnifying glass to see the solder ring burns)

sounds like a fuel filter or more likely a fuel pump fault.low fuel transfer pressure, possibly a dealer would be cheaper than a diy repair unless you have the diagnosis correct.
