Question about 1996 Volkswagen Jetta
Will keep running once started and fine at idle. Slow pressing of the throttle and rpms increase fine, but if you push the throttle quick it dies. Coded camshaft position sensor A circuit range. Assumed it was distributor and replaced it. Close to in time, but not much better. Maybe a degree or two off. Also codes tank ventilation valve open circuit. I am lost as to what that is.
What is the fuel pump pressure? When you put the throttle down, there is not enough fuel to match the air inlet and it dies.
