Hello Mike, I have a truck that has over 200K miles on it. Once in a while, it will not move after shifting because it is in two gears at once. If I shift back into the previous gear, it will correct itself. I suspect the shift forks are worn out in the transmission. Good luck.

95 Honda Passport and gear stuck in 3rd gear will not go in any gear nor crank

Sounds like the clutch master cylinder went bad or is low on fluid or has air in it. Does the clutch feel normal when you push it in? It should try to crank over when clutch is depressed tho unless the neutral safety switch is bad. Have a friend rock the car back and forth while you try to pull it out of gear. Try to start it.if it starts the neutral safety switch is good. That leaves you with a clutch problem.

I installed a complete clutch & Flywheel. I popped outta 1st gear & won't go into any gear whatsoever. Linkage & slave cylinder work! feels like it's going into gear but when i let clutch out nothing

Isolate the problem. Sound like clutch is stuck and not disengaging. Engine off put in gear and rock the vehicle,, with help from a friend press clutch pedal while in gear and have friend push, you will know if the tranny is ok and clutch is stuck. Now check the clutch, slave etc for engagment and disengagment / Clutch linkage- movement/travel may need adjustment or you have something wrong in the reassembly..

Clutch on 8N ford need help have and 8N ford tractor can not get in gear.park it 9 months ago was working fine when parked push pedel nothing happens

Please check and see if there is a steel brake line from the clutch pedal to the transmission, because I think you might have a "hydraulic" clutch.
This means there is a master cylinder near the clutch pedal and a "slave cylinder" mounted on or near the transmission.
Over time, the slave cylinder can fail, and the tractor will no longer shift for you because the pedal will not release the clutch.
The slave cylinder would need replacement or rebuilt.
God bless your efforts.

Clutch pedal sinks to floor

Unless you have bled the slave cylinder properly there will still be air in it. However I think the problem is in the clutch master cylinder ---piston rubbers leaking fluid back to reservoir. Replace the m/cyl with new item and bleed out correctly.
