Your lock out switch, most likely, has been turned on... this safety switch usually prevents the kids in the back seats to stop playing with the power windows

I have an EOS VW 2009 and it had 5 window switches in the driver side door to the front windows and back windows and a switch to push all four windows down/up at the same time. But right now my passenger...

Hi Kimberli,

I suspect that since all windows can be powered up and down, you have issues with I believe 2 specific switches you mentioned that have problems - as a result of possible rain water, melting snow / ice or spillage of beverages. You might be able to clean them up - or replace the ones that are "flaky"

Good luck!

My spring sprung on my 96 grand am window regulatorhow do I get it tight again? and how do I replace the window motor?

You can not fix the regulator, I've tried. Get the regulator and motor together. there are two bolts that are for the window, there are four for the regulator and three for the motor. The motor is attached to the regulator so you don't have to remove it. Get the window down to access the bolts, once you get them out, then push the window up and wedge it into place. the regulator has 4 bolts, two on each side of the door. remove these. Remove the 3 bolts for the motor and fish the whole unit out of the door. Then reinstall.

Driver window won't roll up and passenger wont roll down where are the fuses for these windows located?

the window fuses are in the fuse box
but i don't think that's the problem if a window will roll up but not down
or down but not up/////
open the driver door you will see a rubber tube going from the door to
the door jam open the rubber up ill bet you find a few broken wires
all you need to do is splice them back together

if you don't find any brakes in the fuse box the windows are setup
on breakers they might be bad Thar's always a first for every thing

hope this helps you
good luck

Replaced passenger side door glass. When you use

What you need to do to initialize the window is remove the window motor from the regulator. Plug it into the car by itself, then press up on the switch until it turns four times. Then hold the switch down for four turns, then put motor back into the regulator, and assemble back into the door. to make sure the motor spins correctly four times I make a tooth on the gear with a marker.

Power Windows

You possibly have a broken or shorted wire in the drivers door jamb inside the rubber boot that runs between the door and the body.
