Question about 2005 Jaguar X-Type
The screen connection is loose, it is a common fault after time, it will need to be taken out and repaired, its not a job for the layman needs the screen removing and the case of the screen removed to get to the ribbon on the lcd screen and then the ribbon removed and replaced with a new one. they go at the board end or the bend in the ribbon, on rare occasions they go at the part that attaches to the screen. either way it will need replacement of this part or you could get a used one to replace it, there have been a for on ebay and other sites.
