Hi this is a common problem with new or old hydraulic systems. If the hydraulic system has no leakages, no rubber reinforced hoses swelling under pressure. It will be correct to replace clutch master and slave cylinder .Do observe the condition of clutch and pressure plate, This seems to be a case of internal pressure loss .

The Clutch Master Cylinder or the Clutch Slave Cylinder has a leak. From under the dashboard, located the Clutch Master Cyliner Boot and pry one side open. If hydraulic fluid drips out, the piston seal(s) in the cylinder are worn. You'll need to replace the cylinder.

the push rod for the clutch master cylinder has no free play, could be the master cylinder is too tight to the bulkhead and it should have a spacer in the form of a shim/gasket ,or the distance between the end of the push rod to the master cylinder is adjustable or the pedal mechanism is adjustable

I lost all pressure in my clutch so I replaced the clutch/slave cylinder etc on my 2001 saturn wagon. worked fine for a 2 months. Now all of a sudden I have some pressure in the clutch but it seems out of...

Two possibilties. If you haven't yet replaced the clutch master cylinder there might not be enough pressure to fully engage the clutch. If the master cylinder is full of fluid and has been operating properly until now it could be that you only need to adjust the linkage at the slave cylinder to give a little more throw to the pressure plate. Always try the easiest things first. Good Luck!

you may just open the bleeder, and let it gravity bleed. make sure on the master cylinder that the piston is coming all the way back when the pedal is all the way back/up. there's an adjustment for that, on the rod connecting the clutch pedal to the master cylinder.

Clutch no pressure

replace the clutch slave and master cylinder, this is a hard one to bleed, may have to pry clutch arm all the way in so slave piston is all the way back to not be able to hold air, once all air is out you may have to pump pedal maany times let it sit then pump pedal again you will see pedal getting better and better, good luck.

Chevy l989 4X4 5 speed manual clutch not working

Almost every time a clutch is replaced in a GM with hydraulic release system that system is replaced as well. You can try, and try, and try again to bleed it, but you will eventually replace the clutch slave and master cylinders. Once the slave is allowed to fully extend, it is then virtually impossible to make it function correctly again.
