Question about Dodge Ram 1500
The relay is under the hood. The panel will be marked for the fuses and relays. Pull the fuse and put it back in. It is good because the lights come, you are getting rid of corrosion when you do that. The relay, just swap it with another on the panel. If it stops, replace the relay. If it continues replace the light switch. Small tabs in the switch can heat up and loose contact. On and off, just like your problem.

unlock driver door twice consecutively because that's how u disarm the car alarm. As for the radio, input the code that's in ur booklet. If u don't have it, call ur local dealer with the car's serial number and they will give u the radio code. It's 4 digits.

does it start at all, or does it run for about 1 second and shut off? if the latter, then it's the passlock system, and he could have a defective key or security module. the keys have a predetermined resistance value which activates the passlock system to prevent hotwiring. If it is the passlock system, then sometimes you have to wait 15-20 mins for it to reset before starting the engine.

most likely it is the electronic control module which is the brain computer that runs the car and all of the functions and it is not allowing the electrical system to operate or come online. your power supply is not reaching the ignition due to some sort of either an electrical short or blockage.
