Question about 1994 Ford Taurus
You need your registration for the license and vin#, and "sometimes" if you talk real nice to a service writer at any Ford dealer they will give it to you. Otherwise, you have to take it in and they may charge you and make you wait (un-neccesarily). Good luck!

one of the lock on your car may not be in correct position when you close the door. Do it sound like it slows down locking progress and opens again, when you have the fault.try usng locking grease.

It sounds as if the lock solenoids are either very dirty, worn or some of both. I'd open up one of the door panels and locate the locking solenoid. Possibly clean it out with WD40 or such. If problem does persist you'll need to change the solenoids out (if this is the case I'd look for good units off a wreck, save youself a dollar or two)
I hope this may have helped,

Where did you check the volts at?The harness at the front door is the more likely problem. The rubber tubing needs to be pulled back and the harness checked.Check inside behind the kick pannel.I am talking about the drivers door, sorry about that. The kick pannel is right there on the inside, the Harness from the drivers door will plug up in behind the kick pannel,up in the hollow of the car.The harness could be corupt,or comming apart at the plugin.I hope this helps.
