It was defenitly added by someone its not original
It could be alarm or engine kill switch .
Test it see if it has 12 volts on it .If so you need to find the power sorce look for wires that don't belong around the battery .If its not hot then don't worry about it

That apparently is a 'non stock' switch. It could be for fog lights, or some people 'hot wire' the A/C compressor if they have problems. If it is a really small switch it may have to do with the security system. But beings it was put there after market/ production, there is no way to tell over the internet.

The fuel pump relay is located underneath the dash, driver's side, up behind the metal panel (behind the plastic kick panel). It is NOT plugged into the fuse panel.

Turn over dontstar 1992 acura legend

Acura/Honda has what is called a PGMFI relay which is a main relay that really has a couple of relay's in one unit But I would start by checkingsome fuses first. Below is a picture of the fuse layout in the fuse panel inside the vehicle. Check fuses number 5, 14, 22 & 25. If all is good there you may be looking a a faulty relay. This main/PGMFI relay is lovated under the dash of the vehicle on the left/drivers side. Below is a picture of it for you. Also below are some testing procedures to test it. If you need larger pictures you can email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to email you some larger pictures. Fuses and testing the really would be a place I would start and of course there could be other problems but this is the places to start. Hope this helps....

Having problem with my caqr

Try replacing the main relay. It controls your fuel pump and it is known to begin to fail in high temps. It is under the drivers side of the dash behind the kick panel.

1992 Acura Legend

I had the same problem, replaced thermostat and still didn't fix it. What did fix it was simply a thourough coolant system flush and fill. It fixed the engine temp problem. They said there was air in the coolant lines. It also fixed a idle rev in cold conditions.
