SOURCE: 98 tahoe wont hold charge

Sounds like you have a bare wire somewhere that is touching metal and grounding out. Probably a starter cable. Try unhooking the battery, check the voltage of the battery, then hook the cable back up, watching for sparks from the cable. After you get it hooked back up, check the voltage again. If you see a small spark, it is normal. If you see a big spark, you have a wire that is touching something it is not supposed to.

SOURCE: changed battery and alternator i

When you say it's dead, do you mean that no lights, no accessories work? Or just the starter doesn't work? Need to get a little more info before trying to help. Could be a starter issues, or a maxi fuse issue. Doesn't sound like the alternator or battery issue (unless it is battery terminals or ground) since it will "work" after you wait.

SOURCE: I can start the Tahoe

You have a fuel delivery problem. Change the fuel filter first see if that cures it. Depending on the year there may be more than one. If it's a later model it's an in line filter below the drivers door. There is also a sock on the fuel pump itself, which is in the gas tank ( probably NOT your problem )
If it's carborated there's a filter where the fuel enters the carb as well.

I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe with an unexplained battery drain, what could it be? help please

You could have a parasitic drain. Something that is left on in the car and drains the battery. It could also be a corroded terminal on the battery where the alternator is not getting power to charge the battery . Clean the post and the connector of all deposits and install those felt washers under the terminals to impede further corrosion.

Fuel Gauge quit a few months ago and today 2003 Tahoe cranks will not start no pump sound when you turn key on. Where is the fuse for the fuel pump?

{: ) Check out the PCM B fuse (20amp) and the fuel pump relay both located at the underhood fuseblock.
For dual tanks, additional check for the PCM 1 fuse (15amp) and fuel pump relay secondary at the underhood fuseblock bracket.
Check also maybe the vehicle is in theft mode. The engine may only crank but will not start because the fuel system was disabled.
Other possible causes could be the pump itself, or the contol signals from the PCM. Let's not forget the fuel, off course. I hope you get lucky.

Replaced the battery in the Tahoe and am now watching the guage for the battery . Most time it is steady just above 14 but sometimes it tends to drop back a little. Is this normal

Yes ... No car draws the same amount of current continually. To check that ... turn on you heater to high then your defroster ... you should see the gauge change

Changed battery and alternator i week ago the battery gauge plays between 14 or less and when we turn the car off the whole car goes dead and wont start then when we wait a while it starts

You may have a bad battery or alternator, its best if you take in to the Auto parts store where you bought the Battery and Alternator to have them check it on your vehicle, they have tools to test the charging power from the alternator as well as to check the battery condition. Just because their new does not mean they are always going to work.

Change starter on 2002 tahoe now motor wont start

If you had battery unhooked and assuming that it is turning over try this Put your key in turn it on dont start wait 10 mins remove key wait 10 seconds repeat this a total of 3 times. If that dont work try a different key do the same thing. This relearns your key to the ignition it started with Gm cars and trucks from 1999 to to 2006. It is a big problem but there is no recall that I know of. If that dont work a dealer needs to probably replace and reprogram your ignition switch and keys
