I have a Ford f-150 and when I accelerate past 70 km on the highway the Rpms stay at 30 and govern there. When I hit about 90 km. it feels like it is going to stall and it is kicking back and forth.

SOURCE: Poor acceleration, poor gas mileage

I have the same problem as talked about above. 2002 Hyundai accent gsi. HORRIBLE gas mileage. I only get about 320 km per full tank. My driving habits are good. i took it to the garage and they put it on the computer and no error codes showed up. Question: Can a MAP sensor be faulty but NOT show up on the computer diagnostic? I had my O2 sensor checked out and my exhaust, and changed the flex pipe. Car runs pretty good just horrible gas mileage and kinda crappy power. Changed fuel and air filter. Cleaned the fuel system entirely ($80 at garage not $4 bottle).

Anyone ever use a resistor in the MAP sensor?

SOURCE: 94 honda civic wont accelerate over 40mph

I would start with an oil change using proper weight, filter and oil drain plug crush washer. wrong weight of oil can definately cause the issue.

SOURCE: car hesitates to accelerate and feels as though it will stall

take the car back to where the oil was changed at and make sure they did not over fill the oil then ask them if they looked at your air filter and disconnect a vaccum line or the MAF sensoer

if the truck feels like,
the more gas you give it the slower it goes,
you might want to check for a converter plugging up.
