This sounds like the water thermostat is faulty follow top water hose to where it joins the engines take apart the thermostat is what your looking at take it out place on floor (outside house) tip boiling water over the thermostat it should open up straight away if not buy new one not expensive & replace with new one assemble pipe & thermostat cover (normally made on aluminum) everything should now be okay working fine.
