That is a job best left to a shop that does AC work. They have to vacuum out the system with a special pump, and then recharge it with the correct coolant fluid. It is hazardous to release old coolant into the air or to breath it Refrigerant Poisoning
That's just one of the reasons to leave a job like that to the people that are trained and certified with AC

How to replace heater core in 2006 Pontiac G6? I am at the last steps. Cant seem to get the heater core out?Am I taking the ac out with the heater core?

The heater core is part of the car's engine cooling system and is not part of the AC. They share only the fan used to move the cool or heated air provided by the AC or heater.

it must be cut away within the surrounding plastic circles and reinstalled with dealer blower install kit. It's not the worst thing GM has done for design, but it's pretty bad.

Cooling fan will not come on what can i check to fix this problem this is on a 1995 grand am 3.1 litre i also have a problem with the horn it wont work and the fuse is good.

The horn maybe a horn relay,or a bad horn,or the horn button .The cooling fans, check to see if they will come on with the ac on,if not, check the fuses, and the cooling fan relays,if the cooling fans come on with the ac,then change the coolant sensor.

Air conditioner compressor shuts off, but can be restarted by disconnecting the positive battery post. This only fixes the problem for a short while. What can this problem?

You have a problem with the ac system, witch you have figured out.Smeone will have to put ac gauges on the ac system to check to see what the problem is.Reset the system and turn on the ac,and see if the cooling fans every come on.If they don`t,then the problem could be that the condenser is allowing the compressor to build up to much head pressure.Hope this was helpful.

Cooling fans?

The second fan helps cool down the system with the a/c on. I would start the car get it to operating tempature then turn on the a/c. With in a few minutes the second fan should come on.
