SOURCE: replacing heater switch in 2004 hyundai sonata

Open the ashtray, and grab the bottom of the bezel. Its only clipped in, so give it a yank and the bezel will come off. Unplug the connectors and replace your switch.

SOURCE: replacing rear wheel bearings on 1999 hyundai sonata

  1. for drum brakes with sealed hub(all one piece) remove lug nuts and wheel.
  2. spray penetrating oil around studs if there is a big phillips head screw visible remove it with impact driver/if not use big ballpeen hammer ,tap on flat of drum near studs(becareful not to hit them) until drum loosens(your creating a shockwave to loosen rust)
  3. once drum is off there are 4-bolts coming in from behind backing plate, remove them then hub should be able to be removed w/a little persuation from hammer.
with out sealed hub ,

Check your gas cap , u need replacement of gas cap and if that don't work u need to do smoke test on your evaporated system but first change the cap.

I would take the car to your nearest Autozone and they can scan your computer for free, this has to be some sort of problem with your gas evaporitive system

Change heater cord on 2005 hyundai sonata

You first have to drain the radiator, then you diconnect the heater hoses to your heater core .in the engine compartment. Then you remove the cover off the heater core assembly under the passenger side , under the glove box. Then you take straps off the heater core off. and replace . Install every thing you removed previously and refill your radiator and your done.

Block heater

Do you mean the Heater core ? If that is what you mean. It is under the dash just inside where 2 hoses from the inside of the engine compartment go right into the car on the firewall at the back of the engine. Those hoses have to be hot when the engine has been running hot.So be careful. If they are not hot, no hot water is passing through to the heater core.

2003 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L won't start Last week my wife was driving down the road, and her 2003 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L just died...of course it was xmas to boot.. but anyways, we went round and round trying to figure out what was wrong, so I went a got a brand new fuel pump assembly, installed it, and the car still wouldn't start..i tried to shoot some starting fluid in the air intake, and it sounded like it wanted to fire up, but just wouldn't..tried a few more times, and it just basically sounds fine, but without the the gas to make it run. So I eventually read up on what else it could be, and looked at the timing belt, while the wife was cranking over the engine in 1/2 second intervals. I noticed 4 areas that had anywhere from 1 to 3 teeth missing.. so i went to remove the timing belt, and seen that the balancing belt was broken in half, and all wrapped around the sprocket.. I removed that, and the timing belt. I also removed the crankshaft sensor. I put everything back together, and had the timing marks pretty close to where they needed to be...the only ones I could get exactly right, were the intake and exhaust camshaft marks. the intake timing mark was 2 teeth clockwise past the timing mark, and the exhaust timing mark was 1 tooth counter clockwise from the timing mark.. but anyways, i figure it should at least fire up, but to my surprise...it did absolutely nothing.. basically engine turns over just fine, I don't hear no noise, or clanking anywhere, sounds like it has compression..but again, just isn't getting fuel i imagine.. tried using starting fluid again....like an idiot..and it seemed like it has spark since it tried to fire up.. I guess I just want to know if somebody might know of something else that could be causing my problem. thanks.
