Question about 1988 Ford F 150
I looked under hood and saw that it was popping out freon and oil out of a small hole that was suppose to be there on the top rail assembly that mounts on the top of the compressor at the very end of the pipe. Aiming at the plastic radiator cover. These pops were not like a steady leak but a pop every 3 seconds or so and would stop when the compressor was turned off. What is that hole for and is it missing a cover plate or something that blocks that hole. I plan to put a screw in the hole with a washer seal to stop it. Is this a good idea??
As it was done by a Pro shop take it back to them and ask them to put it right as it is faulty
