Sounds like the actuator inside the door, has come loose from the locking mechanism. You may need to remove the inner panel of the door and observe the motions as you attempt to lock the door.

kind of hard but it can be done but what probly happen is that the child lock is hafe and hafe not ingaged or disangeged so it's stuck

heard of your problem! open drivers door,look at door jam were wiring harness comes out of body,thier be a break in main door harness! peel back rubber boot and tug on wires.

Lock and unlock both run off the same power supply...I'd be looking for a bad switch or a broken wire in the door harness where the wires go through the rubber boot between the door and pillar.
