Question about Chevrolet Astro
When facing vehicle with hood open, should be on right, or drivers side under the hood, in a black or gray plastic housing with a cover that can be popped off. You will need a fuse puller or pair of needle nose pliers to pull and check the fuses. Yours is probably a blue 15 amp fuse that's blown.

In most cars, the headlight fuses are under the hood, but don't forget, there's also a headlight relay there.
Hope this helps.

It is your alternator Fuse - The alternator fuse is bolted to the wire connectors, you will have to pull the fuse holder up by releasing the plastic tabs with a small screwdriver then you can get to the bolts to replace the fuse, make sure the battery is disconnected before attempting this. Check the rest of the fuses especially the EFI fuse.
Usually the ALT fuse only blows if the battery was recently jumped BACKWARDS.

Try smacking down on the hood with a open hand. You may want to have someone inside to pull the lever while you hit on the hood.If you do get it open spray everthing down with a good lubicant.Well good luck and hope this helped.

Testimonial: "It worked just fine .I also used some wd40.Thanks"
by looking at the manual for my 97 Camaro and if you say that the switch is good then that helps narrow it down a lot, because i found a circuit breaker... not a fuse!...located inside the headlamp switch itself. good luck and let me know if you find it... c.b's. are usually resetable please let me know if you fix it because i have the same car and it might go out on me someday..thanks man! also you can see if your getting voltage on the yellow wire when the switch is in the "head" position..if its not there, then its almost a guaranty that its the c.b.
