Question about 2002 Jaguar X-Type
How do I by pass a an anti-theft system on my 1996 jag
Posted on Feb 13, 2016
I think you can but you should check with your jag dealer to be sure, it will also need programming to the car using jag diagnostic equipment, because it is a module on the can network and the pats security system will not recognise it as belonging to the car and wont allow you to start the engine. hope this answers your question. cheers.

SOURCE: 2002 jaguar x type clock
I found this on a wiki search...it worked for me on my 03 X-Type
"Press and hold the mode button with the radio on. This will bring up a screen, select 12 or 24 hour scale, depending on what your preference is...press mode again...now enter the time with the keypad, using a "0" before the hour,if the hour is not in double digits. Press mode again...Now use the # button to change from AM to PM. Hope this helps!

When I went to the Jaguar dealership the dealer (Farmingtonhills of Michigan Jaguar dealership)told me that only either 2005 or it was 2006 and better are the only autos with this function. I have a 2004 and I wanted to do the same thing. There might be another solution that I did not think of untill I left, asking them if it possible to install a bluetooth package. This might be possible, but for those of us that have a 2005 and lower model they did not come with this feature.

SOURCE: VOLVO 850 RADIO/CD REPLACEMENT
Yes, its simply to remove the radio wich is there (two clamps, one on each side) retract the connectors.
You might need to buy a compartment to conceal the part of the opening that will be exposed when removing the bigfront-radio.
(Volvo-dealers can help you) And a cableset wich contains the connectors to the Radio-connectors in the 850 and directly to the radio you buy. (Most radio-dealers hava all kinds)
New radio mounts in only e few hours. All included.
Theese Volvos are very well prepeared for this.
