I don't have anything to tell what the codes are, but you may have a bad CV joint or shaft. Have struts checked too.

I am getting P0700 and P740 what do they mean? P0740 states that TCC Circuit Malfunctioning, what does that mean? I took my car to a repair shop and was told that it would cost me $1400 to fix it. I would...

P0700 is an information code from the transmission controller to the engine controller(computer) it says "hey I'm having trouble making the trans do what I want it to!" P0740 is a trans code saying that the TorqueConvertorControl system isn't working. Could be the solenoid pack, valve body or the torque converter itself. I would recommend to leave this for a pro! $1400 is a fair price.

Error #P0740 & P0700 need help with fixs and price

Both codes are for transaxle problems.
Code 740 is the torque converter and code 700 is a general fault with the controller.
You'll need to take it to a shop that works on transmissions.

Codes p0700 and p0740 came up when checked. any ideas on what could have caused it? it is a 2002 dodge stratus.

P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction

P0740 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfunction

Sounds like the auto transmission is having or about to have some issues. Normally you will see the engine running faster than is should for the speed you are traveling. get your transmission checked out soon

2001 dodge caravan p0700 code

Hello! Well - both of these codes are in reference to shift pack issues. P0700 is related to torque management, designed to reduce the RPM's at highway speed and lock up the torque converter. If it's throwing this code, there is a strong likelihood that the clutch packs are damaged. P0740 is directly related and will most likely result in the need for the clutch packs being replaced. I wish I had better news to report. :(

Hope this helps and good luck!

2004 clunking noise thru steering!

Its probably the intermediate steering shaft. The shaft where it goes thru the firewall is known for clunking on these trucks. GM makes a lube kit to fix the noise. I don't have the part number handy, but the parts guy at the local dealer will know what you are looking for.

Good Luck
