Clicking at the starter is usually caused by a weak battery or cables . Why didn't you jump at the battery ? Did you hook it up right , positive to positive ? You messed something up ! Better take it to the dealer !

The security system has nothing to do with the starting system on this vehicle ! It disables the fuel injectors !

    Passlock?"¢ System

The theft deterrent system has been incorporated into the body control module (BCM). The theft deterrent is provided in order to prevent the vehicle operation if the correct key is not used in order to start the vehicle. The ignition key turns the lock cylinder. The cylinder rotation produces an analog voltage code in the Passlock?"¢ sensor. This voltage code is received by the BCM. The BCM compares the voltage code to the previously learned voltage code. If the codes match, a class 2 message is sent from the BCM to the powertrain control module (PCM)/vehicle control module (VCM). The message enables the fuel injectors.

I dislike people who think they know something when in fact they know not !

SOURCE: My 2003 chevy silverado has abs light on , parking brake on , service 4wd message , and cruise control won't work . What schould I look for ?

I would probably have the computer scanned for ABS trouble codes.
It could be a switch or something else such as an actual problem with the abs system.

i would check the ground strap to the block. it may also be that your battery is too weak to start that high torque motor. check the cca ( cold cranking amps) of the new battery, making sure it is at least 1000 cca - anything less and it won't have enough oomph to kick it over. have you felt along the length of the battery cables for lumps/bumps ( that spells a bad cable). there is a possibility it is the mechanical ignition switch, which is mounted on top of the steering column under the dash, but i wouldn't suspect that as it does start with a jump.i would also check where the negative cable mounts up - there could be corrosion hidden there. corrosion ( green or white deposits in the cable, terminals or connection points) increases resistance, which means it will take massive amps to start. with the christmas tree lighting up, i would first suspect the block ground strap, which is a braided, flat wire that goes from the block to the frame or body.
best of luck and i hope this helps!!

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

Silverado will not start

Click on the link.
I tried to get everything on one page, makes it a little small to read. Check for voltage and ground at the starter motor. Any testing make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set. Two voltage circuits, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other voltage circuit goes hot with key in the crank position and the starter relay energized, goes to starter S terminal. The neutral or clutch switch is also involved in that circuit. Use a test light to check for voltage. The starter motor is grounded through engine block. Make sure battery has a full charge. When you check fuses, also, use a test light and check voltage on fuse circuit, applicable fuses.

Reduced power light came on right after abs fault light came on

Firstly, you will have to perform a jump start, using another vehicle or battery.

I suspect that your alternator may have failed, so please do the following:

1) With vehicle running, use a voltmeter across the battery terminals. If charging is lower than 13.5 volts, then you can replace the alternator.
2) If charging can go up to 14 volts when revving the engine slightly, then go to 3
3) With engine off, check voltage across battery terminals. If lower than 12.4 volts, and if alternator check was okay, then replace the vehicle battery and retry.

Start with the simple things first. Check connections at starter and battery, check connection of main ground cable. Operate your test again at outside at night (in the dark) and have person watch the engine compartment for sparks which are easy to see at night. Always diagnose problem from the source, and check to make sure solenoid on starter is good, also that clearances are correct and starter is not binding when it tries to rotate.

Car wont start, acts like battery is dead. battery shows full charge. full lights, buzzers, etc. put it on charger-didnt start...cleaned cable connections-didnt start...tried to jump with truck-didnt...

Check the battery +12v power connection to the starter is in good order,
Check the ground connection between the battery negative and the engine/starter motor is robust and intact.
If no problem with above, replace the starter motor.
