No fire to spark plugs

make sure the battery has a good clean tight connection. Make sure the coil has juice running through it to the distributor. Take the cap off and look at the rotor and make sure its in good shape and the contacts inside the cap are clean and in good shape. Make sure the coil wire to the center of the cap is not broken. If all this is checking out ok then your distributor or igniter has a broken circuit inside. I would try another used one from the auto recyclers as a new one from the dealer can be worth more then the car is worth. Try these things .It about trial and elimination when its electrcal issues

I need a new head gasket. my kia sedona has a little over 75,000 miles on it. should I fix it or get rid of it? it is a 2004 I live in MA

if the rest of the vehicle is in good shape,, and you have knowledge of motors,, fix it, my Kia has 250k plus on it, so its well worth it, as long as the vehicle as a whole is in good shape

The automatic transmission in these cars are known for early failure. They are very complex and often cost more to rebuild than it would be to buy a new one. I know that many transmission shops wont even touch this car. Your best bet would be to search your local junkyards and find a transmission from a car that was wrecked (you know it was working when wrecked) or a transmission from a junkyard that will guarantee it's functionality. A new transmission will cost about $2,000 -$3,000 installed, depending on where you go. If the car is in good shape, it may be worth saving. In great condition it's worth about $3,000. Keep that in mind. If it's not in great shape, it might be a good idea to find a different car. Good luck.

Is it worth it to replace a transfer case on a 1999 Chevy Suburban? And if I do where is a good place in the Port Huron, (Northern Detroit) Michigan to get parts?

I cant make the call. Think of it this way, do you like the truck, and what shape is it in. I see your in michigan, salt can be a killer on the truck. But if its in good shape and you like it go for it. Shops or wrecking yards in your area I just don't know.
