SOURCE: 1998 Ford Explorer has factory

Use this as a guide and a 12 volt test light, or multimeter to see if power at proper terminal from truck. If power there, then connection at trailer plug, or wiring from there to tail lights on trailer is faulty.motor1258_22.jpg

SOURCE: My 1990 Ford F250 won't start but has new starter, battery and ignition switch

Have you checked for 12 volts coming in going out of the the starter solenoid switch that is mounted passenger side fenderwell.

Testimonial: "No but that is logical; thanks! You can start the truck by 'jumping out' that same solenoid."

SOURCE: Left turn signals won't flash, Right side works fine. Replaced front and rear turn bulbs (rear was burned out). Bulbs come on fine on the left side, they just won't flash.

Gday mate, we had a problem with another late model vehicle similar to that, the bulb that was put into the reverse light was not exact brand product ( ohmage was slightly wrong ) and fowled up computer, correct bulb in place and disconnect battery to reset K A M ( keep alive memory) problem solved, BEWARE, some vehicles cannot have KAM reset except for dealer computer tethered reboot , just try putting the factory correct bulb(s) in and see how it goes, geoff. hope this helped.

With the condition of the screws you should check to make sure there is a good connection to the lower bulbs for both power and ground.

My 1999 Ford F250's left rear turn signal won't work. New bulb, socket and wiring harness still doesn't fix it. I get a fast flashing of the left front turn signal and nothing in the back. The park

Does the bulb work for the brake switch ?
My guess would be a break in the wire between the switch and the socket, or a problem inside the turn signal switch.

1990 Ford f250 brake lights and turn signals won't work - checked all fuses, flasher and bulbs and all are good, what could problem be??

Well the brake light and turn signal circuits are on two different fuses, but they both go thru the turn signal switch.
So I would start by checking for power in and out of the turn signal switch for each circuit.

One headlight on my 04 f250 lowbeam only won't work even with new bulb

Try a new Relay. Sometimes Ford uses the same part in other sockets. The horn relay may be interchangeable for testing.

Relays are shown in the help section of Autozone.com when you register your vehicle.

I need the proper fuse letter/code for right rear light...2004 jeep cherokee

what type of light? turn signal, taillight,or brake light. if the right rear isn't working but the left rear is on the the brake light or the taillight then the problem isn't the fuse(the share the same fuse). may want to check the bulb socket on the right rear. the contacts get hot and melt the socket and the housing.

Sounds as if you brake light switch is not working or adjusted properly, check for voltage to the switch then depress the brake pedal and make sure you have voltage on the outward side of the switch if ok check the bulbs at the taillight assembly

Ford f-250 taillights wont work bulbs new everything else works??? 1999 model checked fuses

check the rear whip, usually right under the bumper where the left side and right side come together,un-tape everything and check the brown wire and connection,if looks green with corrosion then cut it and re-solder it and seal with insulating wire wrap or shrink wrap tube---its for the tail lights or parking lights
