On a 1994 Nissan D21, do I need some type of conversion kit or something to change automatic locking hubs to manual? Or do I just buy the manual locking hubs?

Already purchased rugged ridge 15001.45 31 spline 6 bolt mount manual lockers from amazon

Im a locking hub kind of a guy my self and have ownned 4x4 Nissans .
But I have never heard going from electroinicly locking hubs to manaul lock .
I remember a recall with the locking hub inner bearing seal issue that seized the hub shaft to the inner bushing but the bearings wore huge and didn't effect them .
Unless you know something I don't I don't think this can be done

Changed a rotor on my 2005 nissan frontier had to get the whole assembly spindle and all. replaced it now my 4x4 wont work

Is the brake rotor not bolted to the back of the hub. I've never known the whole assy needed changing? There are pictures on bing images showing the layout as several parts. Something in the hub locking mechanism isn't correctly assembled. Retrace your steps. Find a manual.

Do I need a conversion kit to install Warn Manual Locking Hubs. I have Automatic locking hubs now.

You can piece a kit together yourself with a little research, but a full kit takes out he guesswork and only costs about $10 more total for the older dodges, so it shouldn't be much different for Ford. The hub assemblies don't come with the required spindle nut and other small parts that you used to have to get on your own. If you buy the complete kit, it should have the instructions and everything you need. Places like stage 8 have even solved some of the most common problem areas and weak points, so if you compare kits you can get the best fit for your needs, depending on how hard you use your truck.

The auto locking hubs are sort of a weak link. Many replace them with manual locking hubs, which last basically forever. Here is a set of instructions:

Auto locking hub sucks is there a aftermarket manual locking hub kit

Unlike the 97-03 MY F-150s, the 04-08 MY use vacuum to hold the IWE ( Integrated Wheel End ) out, and once vacuum is removed the IWE spring engages the gears to lock the wheels to the front axle.

I have not seen a replacement front axle with manual hubs yet, checking Warn's site. Maybe check with Warn, but from the application list, 1996 was the last F-150 hub conversion kit they make. SuperDuty is 04, but that is an option from Ford up until 04.
