When i turned the car off the ac fan keeps running. Runs my battery down

Year make and model helps. On some fuse panels, corrosion causes this. They can be cleaned and start working properly, as long as you don't see any burnt/melted wires. Other panels get over heated and wiring on the inside starts to bend and eventually will touch other wires. These have to be replaced. On rare occasions, the fan relay will stick and keep the fans running. Swap it with another and see it if stops. If so replace the relay.

Why does engine fan keep running after car is turned off

Hi there:

Sound like a problem on your cooling fan relay sticking. If the relay sticks the fan will stay on. If you replace the relay it should correct the problem.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

Keeps overheating, needle goes all the way up then drops to normal, and it will keep going up and down

Well it sounds like the fan is kicking on late.It could also be the thermostat is sticking.Make sure you have the right mixture of antifreeze and water 50/50.Antifreeze has a high boiling point than water alone.Make sure the fan is coming on.

Fan keeps turning on after driving a bit. air was

Sounds like you might have a bad thermostat or bad radiator cap. Sounds like it's getting hot really fast. If the thermostat is sticking closed, that would do that.
