Three things to always look for when trouble shooting a no start condition. 1 fuel, 2 air, 3 spark.
That being said: Fuel getting to the cylinder not just fuel in the tank. Air getting both in and out of the engine. Spark in sufficient amounts and at the right time. All that said and I dont even have a clue what engine you own. If its a diesel things change. For all I know you say wont start but that could mean the starter is not even turning the engine.

Fuel, spark, air. Takes all three to run. One of them is missing.

I have a 95 honda civic ex,wont start.ran fine yesterday,wont start this morning.battery is fully charged,new cap and rotor.would do u think might b my problem

if it wont turn over 1st check the ground s on the car and the battery 1st. your battery can be fully charged and the car will not start even over night this can happen. then look at the starter. Note: if you have over 109K on the car and the timing belt has never been replaced you will need to have this checked as well.

The car was running fine one day then the next day it would not start. We tried jumping it thinking the battery might be dead and it still would niot start. The car has power until we take the jumper...

Sounds like you have a toasted battery or alternator. Have you performed a load test on the battery? Have you tried to charge the battery? First remove the battery and charge it externally from the vehicle. If the battery won't hold a charge, or won't hold a charge of 12 volts, replace it. Once you have the vehicle started, test the operation of the alternator. It should be putting out at least 13 volts back to the battery to keep it charged - if it is putting less than 13 volts or more than 16 volts, replace the alternator.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

If the battery light is on, I strongly suggest that you have the battery charged. It can be an indication of a weak battery or a faulty alternator. If the battery light still on after charging then the problem will surely be on the alternator itself. If that's the case the alternator should be replaced to resolve the problem.

If the battery won't hold charge even on a new alternator then the problem will be on the battery itself. It surely is in the end of it's service life and replacement will be necessary.

You may try to reset it to by removing the positive battery connector, letting it sit for at least 5mins. then reconnect it again. This will reset the system and can get the battery light off.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

My 2004 SE 2L wont start. when i try to start it it makes a triggering noise from the bonet. It was running low on petrol plz help

This sounds more like a low battery. Try to jump it if possible. If not, try removing the battery and taking it somewhere to have it charged. Once you know you have a good powersource(i.e. battery), then try start. If it does, then have your charging system tested for proper charge.
