SOURCE: I have a question about a '94 Geo Metro clutch cable

First you must loosen where the cable goes to the tranny and it will give you moor playing room when connecting it .
You cannot connect it from under the hood it must be done from under the dash.
Be sure to push the seat all the way back.

SOURCE: clutch pedal too hard too push in 94 might max

Bad presure plate. The clutch is made up of two parts, the clutch disk and the presure plate. as the vehicle gets older the pressur plate can bend making it imposible to push the pedal in. This is very common if your vehicle has a clutch cable as compared to a hydrolic clucth but happens with both just the same. The solution is replace the clutch.

SOURCE: i need to find and install a clutch arm and pedal

that is bad advice, AZ dont have these parts.
the full shop manual is online at pub library. e-sources.

the arm fails because you cable is bad.
if you dont replace the cable it WILL fail again.
let me guess you stripped the spin on part id 21 bottom photo.

My 94 geo metro..from questions on cable to pedal...what happen is cable disconnected from pedal..havent looked yet..wanti g to know if i can reconnect if it just popped off

no man on earth can answer, because we can't look either.
only looking at real damage works.
damage or wear really have no limits in the physical world.
we examine it carefully to see what is wrong, and then replace parts that are beyond repair.

How to adjust 95 geo tracker clutch

engaging?
you meant dis-engage im sure.
pedal up is engaged,
pedal at floor dis-engages it.
my guess, is the clutch drags unless i push the clutch pedal 100%
to the floor.
1: bad cable is 90% cause. non last this long.
2: no free play is way too loose.
3: broken lever on the pedal top. caused by #1

all fail modes covered here.

Geo sick..lol have to push cluch to floor few times to get it to start..lost 1st an 4th gear they pop out and is slow to nothing taking off in 2nd..push gass but get rev no go..lol some one said the boot...

3 cylinder Metros use a mechanical cable not disengage the clutch, not a hydraulics so there is no 'boot' that could be bad (a "boot" is a common name for the rubber seal in a hydraulic master/slave cylinder). There is an electric safety switch under the dashboard, at the top of the clutch pedal which prevents the engine from turning over unless the clutch pedal is depressed. It is likely faulty or adjusted incorrectly.

the cable just hooks over the top of the clutch pedal.
Google Clutch cable and you will get an automotive site.
Select Tracker and you should pull up a picture.
There is very little to it.
The cable comes through the firewall and hooks on the top of the clutch pedal.
Hope that helps
