SOURCE: Intermittent power loss after accelerating hard

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem! Try filter first (cheapest), then the pump
Hope this helps, Henry

Still sounds like a fuel problem. Try a full tank of supreme gas, plus put a can of SEAFOAM into the tank to help clean you injectors. See if this will help clear up your problem. Did you change the plugwires????

I have a 1996 chevy tahoe, I am having problems with my first gear. We taking off from a stop first gear will not kick in until accelerating to 3,000 rpms and letting go of the gas pedal first gear then...

I think you mean the first shift which is second gear, the trans starts off in first. The problem is either a resticted solenoid or solenoid feed filter( small screen in valve body plate) or the lining on the 2-4 band is just about gone.I would recomend a good computer diagnosis and not just a code pull at a parts store to make sure all the engine inputs are within range such as throttle position sensor and map sensor. These transmission are prone for failure and it is now 15 years old.Good luck, let me know if I can help.

03 honda accord v6 shifting problems

Sounds like it could be the ECU (electronic control unit); easy to change. I have bought used ones a lot cheaper than new ones and work fine. Your year may be located under the glove box to the right behind panel (my older car was passenger side under the mat). They are easy to change out regardless of location.

Honda Civic 1.6 vtech Inspire 03 with poor fuel consumption

this car is fitted with a computer controlled engine/gearbox it will try to make you drive as economically as poss, if you let it,Try this, without using the gas padal let the car accelerate all the way to top gear on its own then from stop use 1/3rd of gas pedal upto top gear, try not to assist acceleration let it do its own thing.if you can drive like this all the time gas mileage will be considerably higher.it is made this way because makers have been told to reduce power/gas consumption in all cars....of course you can use kickdown but watch your fuel guage....

Replace the fuel filter. That should fix the problem. You can follow the fuel line back to the fuel tank to find it. It is usually in the middle of the vehicle near the edge of the vehicle, like right under the passengers or drivers door.

2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V clutch sticking and hard shifting

I am dealing with a very similar issue on my 03 Spec V , So far i noticed the clevis pin was loose and the locking hitch pin that slips thru it had fallen out . this caused the gears to not wanna engage due to the bolt behind the clevis which runs to the master cylinder was not getting pressed in when i pushed the clutch pedal in because the clevis pin was slippin on n off giving me no pressure up top .. I had to remove my lower dash panel in order to get visual n hand access to this pin , it is a tight spot to work in as well . May be easist to remove the 4 14mm bolts that hold yur driver seat in to give ya more room to work n stretch out ur arms
