Question about Mitsubishi Lancer
Mitsubishi lancer 1.5 to 1.8 replace engine. The 1.5 was manual but the 1.8 is automatic.Everything is in position and when we try to start the car with the key we hear the sound from the fuel pump which remains on but the car won't start.
Assuming all fuel lines and electricals are correctly connected, and that there is fuel in the car and spark getting to the plugs, my best guess is that you'll need to put the computer that went with the 1,8 into this car. Also, you need to make sure that the Neutral Safety Switch is connected properly.

Testimonial: "Thank you for the answer. The computer from the 1.8 is is connected to this car.Do I need both computers the 1.8 and 1.5 or just the 1.8? I will check the neutral Safety Switch later and I will let you know if it is connected properly or not.One more question,if the Switch is connected properly is there anything else I need to ckeck?"
