Hi Go to the Dealer and have them check it out. It maybe a simple and pushing a reset button. Or it could be something more complicated. Also check for code scan faults.#. Good luck

SOURCE: rev counter, speedo & sometimes fuel & temp guage not working

pull the instrument cluster out and check the printed circuit and connector to it from harness, plug it in and out three or four times, this may cure the problem.

SOURCE: engine warning light , battery light, warning

My 04 Ford Focus the battery light keeps coming on & going off, have fitted a new alternator belt but it didn't solve the problem. The battery connections are good. Also the rev counter, speedo & mileage clock keep going haywire when the battery light is on. Do you think it is the alternator? Or is it some other common problem?

SOURCE: speedo, tacho, fuel gauge, temp gauge stopped working

Maybe, a wire came lose. Did you hit anything? Spill any water inside? Could be a short, considering they all went out. Did they all go out at once?

SOURCE: Gauges not working

It MAY be an internal problem with the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). The place to BEGIN diagnosis would be to perform a COMPLETE scan of your ENTIRE onboard computer network. Please note that generic code readers CANNOT perform this function.

Check for bad harness connection Under the dash at the back of instrument cluster housing. Make sure connectors are plugged in completely. Check all fuses located under dash (drivers side) Consult your owners manual for fuse legend.

I have a 2007 3.2 DI-D GLS SWB Auto 4x4 and have a problem which started suddenly 2 days ago. None of the instruments come on when switching the ignition key. I have checked the fuse #2 and it is not

Your problem may be in the ignition switch. There is a lot of stuff going on when you turn the key. There is an actuator in the ignition. Normally the car won't turn over when they go bad, but I can't know everything!!!!

The gauges have stopped working ? Fuse under dash seems to be OK ?

Behind the dash is what they call a constant voltage regulator. It controls the guages. It's small and located behind the dash near speedo.
