Hi Jeff, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.
Jeff, the first thing you need to do is make sure the battery has a full charge. If it does have a full charge. The next thing is to check every fuse in the fuse box. If all the fuses are good. The next thing to do is make sure you have power at the starter with the key in the run position. Hope this help and please visit my auto-repair-website here:

The horn used to beep when I used the key fob to lock the car. Now it doesn't. Is there a fuse thats bad or is it another issue.

If the horn works then the problem isn't with it .
Look other related things that don't work quit right minor things key on engine not running you may have gone over a bump or hit a pot hole that jarred a connection or a low battery in the keyless entery .
At any rate its a minor problem you won't get stuck on the side of the highway over it . But keep an eye on what else if anything works funny stops then starts working .
This one thing is not enough to effectively diagnosis why this is happening

Horn not working

Multiple things can cause a horn not to work. First thing, is the air bag light on? If so, odds are you have a bad clockspring behind the driver's air bag module. If this is the case, none of the electronics on the steering wheel will be opporational. Next thing to move on to is simply the fuse for it. If that is not the case, you will have to omh out the wires to insure no breakage in them from the fuse block to the connector on the horn and also the ground. If all checks out fine, the only thing left is the horn it's self. Which there should be a High note and Low note (2). Hope this helps.

'92 Toyota Landcruiser 80 series- brake light came on in the instrument panel and remains on all the time. Brakes working ok. What's the cure?

You say the brakes work fine, so lets start with the e-brake switch, make sure swith is working and ebrake is all the way off, the next thing is the sensor in the mastercylinder, is the brake fluid low or is the sensor working, with this sensor and the ebrake sensor try unplugging and see if light goes out, start with these things first, also there are no brake fluid leaks on the ground, this would cause the poprotioning valve to turn the light on also, but lets start with the other things first. hope this helps.

Electric door locks

Hi, Yikes! Sounds like a control module problem as the things in common don't work independently. For example the driver combo lock works which activates the electric lock, this checks the fuses and relays in that circuit which would mean the switch on that door uses the same circuitry. The keyfob also goes through the control module but then again so does the rear lock but the module is the only real thing in common. The wiring harnesses are not in common either. The only thing I can think to do is have the module diagnosed on the computer. Sorry, But I hope this helps!

Cigarette lighter not working (Ford Windstar 98, 3.0L

Question is, is it the outlet not working OR the actual lighter part of your lighter - the knobby thing you pull out that glows red after it popped back out after a couple minutes after you pushed it in. If it's the knobby thing - plug in a power device like a cell phone charger to see if the outlet works - then replace your knobby thing. If it IS the outlet, it has to be 2 things, one an errant fuse somewhere that is responsible for your outlet - labeled or not - OR a short or loose ground not allowing the outlet to get power. Check your outlet to see if it gets power, check your knobby thing, and check ALL your fuses, not just the ones for the lighter - could be another blown that helps out the outlet , like the one for dash illumination or the ones that control your radio or heat/air.

definately sounds like a fuse problem, check all the fuses in your fuse box and be sure to replace them with the right amp fuses
