Hello Jerry, it sounds like you need a new headlight switch. There is a circuit breaker inside of the switch that resets itself after the breaker activates.

Check the grounds; maybe they're corroded and you need to clean them

after that, it can be anything to do with old wiring heating up to the point that it creates an open circuit or the switch itself

  • Jerry Manley Mar 30, 2015

Yeah checked grounds n replaced all fuses gonna keep looking thanks though

I had the same problem on my 95 XLT 351. It was the vacuum tube going into the ac/heater box on the passenger side near the firewall. The tube was rotten.......I replaced it and BAM.....all fixed.

SOURCE: runs for about 20 miles

Check your fuel lines, check the filter for clogging, check the fuel pump and finally when the car stalls check the fuel and ignition to confirm.
Once confirmed replace or rectify and test run again.

I have 1995 5.8 Bronco. Startturn off. Come back in few minutes won't start, but will wait for 10 minutes or so and then starts fine...until turn off again. Solenoid?

By suggesting solenoid I guess you mean it will not even crank. Heat soak can make solenoid act this way. If it cranks but will not start, I suspect leaky fuel injector(s) flooding engine.

1995 ford bronco - does the fuel pump shut off switch activate if airbag is deploed in a crash

The fuel deadman switch is an inertia-based switch, the momentum and sudden stop in a crash will set if off regardless of whether or not the airbag deploys. The airbag is set off by the closing of one crash sensor and one safing sensor simultaneously. I hope this helps

Transmission leak in a 1991 ford bronco. trani fluid all over most of the engine. can't tell where it's coming from. Main puddle is under the radator.

I would say transmission cooling lines cracked or loose near or at the radiator, If so get the lines from any auto parts they should be 1/4, 5/16, or 3/8 screw the right one into the radiator tank and cut the lines to fit and use a compression union to put them together

How Many Freeze Plugs on a 1995 Ford Bronco 5.08 engine, and what would be an approximate cost to replace?

there are 6 freeze plugs in that engine. The plugs likely cost less than 20 dollars, problem is the engine will have to be removed to do this job so the labor will be expensive, probably 6 to 8 hours.
