At what speeds? 50 , 90 (we have 85mph highway in texas)
pCV working,? if not it may burn oil.

ok oil can not just go away , like tax money out of pocketes or deflation.
not ever.
1: stolen oil, nah.
2: burns it, sure.
3: leaks it , no you'd see it at every stop.
4: leaks it to cooling system., no. the down draft 02 does nothing but checks cat for health so does nothing, releated to this.

it's burning it. but you dont see it because you are not following you.
I see it, i smell it.

bad rings.
bad valve seals.
or PVC packed and crank case pressures on the moon(high)
or all three, is like par for course on any 97./98
its old.
how many miles on it, bet you dont know, but.//????

Coolant sensor wiring would be the next place to look. Make sure connector is good, and look for broken wires.

SOURCE: Engine smells like rubber burning

Generally that smell is caused by an oil leak that is getting on either the exhaust pipe or manifold (doesn't take much to smell). As far as bottle getting low, I've got a 93 that never stays full but only needs coolant in the radiator about once every two months. Been like that for two or three years and has never overheated. I'm sure there is a small leak somewhere, but I'm not driving myself crazy looking for it. Check all hose connections, and look on the ground after being parked overnight...If it's leaking, something will show up. But if the radiator is staying full, just check it when checking oil level.

How do you replace the fan motor in '03 jeep grand cherokee laredo? - the damn thing overheats when idle - changed the relay & coolant sensor... still overheating

When was the last coolant change?
Under 2 years or 24,000 miles.

Change the thermostat and gasket first.

Use a 195F with pop-let protection.

A stuck/failing thermostat is a common cause of over-heating problem.

======
To change the fan,the entire protector plastic has to come out.

Most likely you will break the push in locking pins.

Get few replacement push in locking pins before you start the job.

I have a 1993 Grand Cherokee that runs not more than 30 miles, i already change the tranny 3 times and is the same problem. How i can make it to run good?

Your not even close to explaining whats going on. Is it a tranny issue or is it an engine issue. If it does the same thing after 3 trannys it prabably isnt a tranny issue unless you have a bad torqe converter that hasnt been changed yet.

98 jeep grand cherokee limited 4.0 litre. starts up, during warm up process engine will idle irradically and stall out. starts back up and does the same thing. no check engine light on. cleanrd throttle...

Does this thing have a throttle body that looks like a computer-controlled carburetor?

If so, start motor and verify that it behaves irratically and then stalls.

then, spray WD-40 liberally around base of throttle body where tb meets intake manifold.

Start motor...

Does the problem go away, at least whilst for a little while?

Yes?

You gotta vacuum leak. Replace gasket under TB and tighten bolts to factory spec.
