Minimum of 40 and up to 60 as it is regulated at the injectors

Fuel pressure should be about the same in all cases, there is a pressure relief that opens and send unused fuel back to the gas tank. for that engine 40-50 is a good pressure, it can vary with the condition of the pump and the condition of the relief valve

My 1998 grand prix with a non supercharged 3800 engine with a 150000 miles on it has been running great.my wife went to drive the car and it was running rough.i came home and removed all the spark plugs...

fuel pressure regulator diaphram may have failed. The regulator is at the end of the fuel rail on top of the engine. Pull vacuum hose off regulator and see if it has gas in it. If yes, replace regulator. Let me know if you have more questions or if this isn't the problem.

02 Grand Prix GT 3800 starts and stalls immediately (especially when warm). Will start up again and run fine, though it may have to be cranked a bit to get started the second time. I cleaned the MAF sensor...

Id say maf again, due to the previous instance, however on a 3.8 i wouldnt be above checking the fuel pressure regulator for seeping through the vacuum hole. The boss has a 00 impala with a 3800 and my wife does both with 230k roughly on each, seen quite a few of those regulators and maf's over that time.
