SOURCE: 1999 Cougar V6 2.5L High Pressure Oil Line Leak?

I believe it will be the line to feed your oil pressure indicator in your dash, you can cut the line ( if you have enough length in it) and remove the olive, which is a small brass fitting that goes over the pipe, if you can't remove it then take the small piece of pipe with the olive on it and buy a new olive and refit it to your engine and you Gould be good to go

This switch simply sends a signal to the powertrain control module (PCM) on sensing high pressure in the system. If it looks like the switch is leaking, it probably is - replace the switch.

How do I find a leak in power steering I can't see it from the top.Within 20 minutes fluid is gone.Cant see any leak but puddle on ground.

Did you already checked on the steering rack?
Maybe you need to check from the bottom vehicle also. The leakage commonly occur at the hose joint and sometimes it occur at oil seal on steering rack.

Where is the power steering pressure switch

Inline on the power steering high pressure line/hose. Looking down at engine from front, next to the battery, and next to the power steering reservoir, there is a hose coming out the bottom of the reservoir, curves up, and the sensor with electrical connector is visible near the bend in the hose. It's on the metal part of the line. It's simply screwed/threaded on. Need two wrenches to remove (one to lock onto the line, another to unscrew the sensor).

What does the coolent temprature look like because someone says it got a thread on it but the ones ive looked at have no thread and it comes with an o ring and a u shaped clip please someone help me

That's correct, the old vehicles have a screw on sensor. Always replace with new o-rings if not included with the sensor. Do not break the U-shape clip or you'll have to purchase new ones from the dealer or find them through a junkyard. Always release pressure first by opening the reservoir cap and drain some coolant out from the bottom radiator hose drain valve before removing the coolant temp sensor off the cooling flange.

Fuel Pressure Regulator

All Fuel Pressure Regulators are usually attached to the Fuel Rail. In any case, they have a return line to the fuel tank. On your engine you may have to remove the pretty "Plastic Cover" that covers the top of the engine to see the fuel rail and the pressure regulator. Look for a "tube" that has fuel injectors going from the bottom of it and into the top of the intake manifold. The fuel pressure regulator is a round looking device attached to the end of the fuel rail with a small fuel line coming out the botttom and a vacuum line attached to the top of it. At least in most cases this is what it will look like.
