Two 6 cylinders were available. A 2.8L (170 Cubic Inch) had a gross horse power of 135. A 4.2 (258 Cubic Inch) Had a Net horse power (measured at rear wheels with accessories running) of 150. Could not find a "Net" for the 2.8L engine.
I have no idea myself but found the car memories web site that states the engine specifications and I hope it is correct and matches your engine ?
most likely it would be rounded up to a 5.8 litre capacity
the hp or horse power is denoted by the engine size, design , etc not the carburetor , this supplies the fuel so it is crucial to getting the best performance and power but does not have a horse power of it own , only a engine, of any tpye, is measured by horse power
low horse power.. such as a 2.0 engine does not produce as much horse power as a 5.9 engine.. but it could also be caused by low fuel pressure or friction with the pistons in the engine not being properly lubricated..
