I have a 94 jaguar xj6 the air conditioner isn't blowing I can hear the compressor working but its not blowing where and how do I check the motors and how do I find out if there is a switch problem

behind the dash is a computer for the climate control and on this board is two relays and then have packed up ,so what you do is to connect a live feed direct to the motors ,then they will work on the earth return for the speed control.the fuses for each motor are in a fuse box either side of the dash and i think its about the third or fourth fuse in the middle row a 20 amp one that if the fuse for the blowers so use this and wrap a wire around the leg of the fuse on the user side not the supply check with a meter ? and run this wire to the blower motor

My radiator fan does not come on and the fuse inside fuse power distribution center keeps blowing, whats my problem also no radio..fuse also blowing

Unplug the radiator fan, replace the fuse and see if it blows again. If not, then its likely the radiator fan is shorted. Use an ohm meter and see what the resistance is. It should be greater than 5 ohms.

Keep blowing the A/C fuse

BY you references to what you have done you have eliminated to fault to the front blower . So I suggest that you concentrate your efforts there. The motor be seized up and is drawing excessive current just to work. There may be a problem with the motor speed control shorting out,or a power wire to the motor worn though and shorting out to an earth point.

Rear heater does not blow but a/c does

fuses that look bad are, fuse that look (appear) can in fact be bad
hair line cracks form ,when over current conditions happen.
we use an ohm meter, we take our $20 DMM and select ohms low.
0 ohms is a good fuse, and infinity is 100% bad.
the blower is dead, no blow , no heat.
so find out why the blower is silent (fuse)
or if blower blows (heard) and it dont exit the port of desire.
that means the mode control motors (actuators are malfing)
check fuses 1 more time some cars have up to 3 fuses for heat and blowers and actuators.

if electrics is your bag>?
then login to alldata.com and see the actual schematic
with this and a volt meter, you can find out who is dead.
and why./
the FSM covers this 100x better, than any online source.
DIY:
if serious on car repair? buy one. buy the FSM and become more
self sufficient.
in most cases, the first time you use any FSM it's now free
if it saves you 1 shop hour of labor , you are money ahead.
FREE< it is. if you keep car 8 years as most do.
YMMV

2001 audi a4 1.8t keeps blowing the #25 fuse. Climate control, blower motor and relay all new. went do dealer to re-calibrate computer and still has same problem. Anyone know??

You must have a short somewhere. It's going to be hard to find for sure. Next time it blows start checking for the short with a volt meter in everything connected to that fuse.

C-19 Blower motor fuse 25A located in cabin fuse box. Left hand footwell on LHD vehicles, right hand dashboard on RHD vehicles.
Start by checking blower relay B-36 in the engine compartment fuse and relay box. Remove the relay. Jumper directly from battery to pins 85 and 86. (also see here: http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5544622-wire_relay if you dont know about relays) The relay should click Now measure across pins 30 and 87. Measurement should be 0 ohm.
Remove the blower motor(3 screws on the bottom of the unit under the passenger side dash) and connect jumper leads from the battery directly to the blower motor to see that it operates.
The blower motor resister is mounted on the ducting between the motor housing and the heating unit. Remove to test
Measure :
  • pin 1-2 : 2.4 ohm
  • pin 2-4 : 0.9 ohm
  • pin 2-6 : 0.28 ohm
  • pin 2-3 : 0 ohm

Fuse keeps blowing on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Your fan seems to be drawing way too much current, common with fan motors of all kinds when they are going bad. It will still blow, but hot wires and blown fuses in the normal circuit indicate you have an excessive load in the circuit. Fan motors create this condition regularly, but are often ignored since they are "still blowing."

Here's a cheap, easy way to test my theory:
Try a new fuse, the proper amperage, but leave the blower motor unplugged at the blower itself. That will tell you in a few rides if the blower was the culprit. (Which it most likely is.) I bet your #20 fuse will stop blowing and no more smoking pink wires! Hope this helps. Remember, blower motors are cheap, traffic tickets and dash fires are not. The blower motor draw is the logical thing wrong with this picture. Good LUCK! TT

Keep blowing a fuse, related to turn signals and blower motor.

check your blinker switch/module mounted close to the fuse box and the blower motor for shorts, in rare cases a turn signal lamp can blow out and the filiment can short to the base of the lamp itself check each lamp last but not least you could have a chaffed wire with bare insulation shorting to ground, oooh had tie find
