Question about Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

Why is my cab fan running when I turn of my 2004 Cummings RAM 3500 truck?

When I turn off my truck the cab fan sometimes keeps running. When I turn the fan switch off sometimes it will go off. If I forget to turn it off the batteries will go dead.

There is a good chance that one of the injectors are leaking and needs to be replaced. It's common on the cummings for the injectors to leak if there is a lot of idle time. Good luck and keep me posted.

I am looking for the I.A.T. Sensor location on my truck

If your looking for the Intake Air Temp/Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor (IAT/MAP)(2003 model year and up) It is on the top of the intake manifold, just to the left of the #3 injector fuel line. There are 2 small Torx screws holding it.
