Check trunk (or other place accessible when vehicle is unlocked) for a small sticker which may not be identified as a radio code, for security.
You didn't include make, model or year so no exact likely location for the sticker is possible and if not found, for a fee, most dealers will check factory records for the code..

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Removal Info here
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated
