Had the same issue, except mine just quit in the middle of an intersection. It was my fuel pump. Check out your fuel filter first, though, as I have heard those can cause the same problems and you might get lucky and only need to replace that. If not, fuel pump is a likely culprit.

hi, its sounds to me like the gasket could have been faulty unless a wire has come off or not fitted properly,
Check for loose wires or connectors with no wires going to them and fit these wires back on check the fuel line has not split, check the bolts are tightened properly.
Try turning it over a few times in case its a fuel pressure problem if after doing this its still dont start then you need to take the manifold off and check the gasket is fitted properly as it may have slipped and not be sealing properly, once you have done this refit and tighten then let me know what happens ok.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Start with fuel system. Listen for fuel pump humm at fuel tank No humm check wiring to pump for power. Then check for spark at plugs and wires. Remove wire from coil and hold near engine and see arch when you crank. No arch. Replace ignition Modular inside distributor cap or cap or rotor

does it get louder above 45-60mph? and much quieter at low speeds. It could be wheel bearings, a rear differential or front differential. If its a grinding humming noise its wheel bearings, listenin to see if theyre coming from the front or rear, left or right, or both when your driving to know what wheel bearing are bad. If its a whinning noise, its probably a differential. check and listen to hear if its coming from the front or rear. Also, check for loose plastic around the wheels. Lastly check your tires for uneven or choppy wear. move your hands front to back on the top of the tire. does it feel really choppy and rough, maybe you just need new tires
