I would plug in the one connector if it fits and see if the mirror works. The second connector that you have may be for a heater or if there is a turning arrow in the old mirror. You do 't have to install it completely. Just plug it in and ground it.

S and I installed a mirror on my towncar that has a different connection . My old mirror had two connectors the new mirror only has one connector

Hello Mike, I would say, If the wires are for the heated mirror, the old mirror has one wire for 12 volts and the other was a ground. The new one just uses the one wire for 12 volts and the mirror is grounded to the door by the mounting screws.

you will have to buy a new one or get a used one from a wrecking yard. They are sold online. If the old one is painted to match the car, you will also need to get the new one painted. :o(

My 98 Lexus GS400 drivers mirror was vandalized. Someone has a 2002 GS430 drivers mirror. Lexus dealer says they're different part numbers. Any difference in shape, fitment, wiring between the two model...

The Body of the Mirror looks the same to me, but there could be minor internal subtle changes. Best thing to do is take yours off and compare it to the new one ,or if you are buyimg it online, ask if there is a Return Policy. Call up a local Lexus Salvage Yard and ask them if they are interchangeable.

If the mirror had map lights in it the wires may be shorting out. The fuse for the dash lights also run the mirror mounted map lights. Mike
