Testimonial: "never heard of what? a dodge dakota SLT ??? A turn signal relay ?? O.K."

  • Randy Ohler Mar 29, 2015

Never heard of a relay that makes the flasher go faster. And since it is a 2005 , the flasher is built into the hazard switch. In the dash easy to replace. In the column, You have to replace the turn signal switch. Good luck on your endeavors.

2001 Mitsubishi Mirage, 2 door, 1.8 litre. Turn signals all work, front & back. Recently, turn signals on R/H side are blinking much faster???

That happened on my Nissan. All the replacement light bulbs have the be the required wattage. Check for a burnt bulb, that changes the flashing rate on some cars. The flasher if not OEM may flash at a different rate. If none of these are the problem, you may want to check the Ground resistance of the light socket.

Where do I locate the relay/flasher unit in a 2001 diesel Holden Rodeo to replace it?

IF the flasher works at all, it is not the flasher. They blink faster than normal when there is a wiring short.

When failed trun signal bulb, Jeep turning signal is fastly blinking. I changed rear turn signal bulb with LED bulb, but turn signal blinking speed doesn't go to normal, At first couple of seconds it is...

Try replacing with the same bulb type as was failed. Flasher unit isusually reliant on resistence from the bulbs to what speed that side will flash at when powered. Some of these led type have less resistence and that equates to a faster flash speed. That is why when one bulb blows that side will flash faster or may even stay on without flashing. You could even swap the led to the other side( to confirm.Check with the bulb retailer to whether they have those bulbs with a higher rated resistence in led.If this vehicle has leds as standard, you may need to get the correct type from dealer. Hope this helps or get back with findings if it still has fault after replacing bulb.

I just noticed lately when I turn ON my turn signals, they start blinking twice normal then starts blinking really fast. And not all the rear light bulbs are ON. Could this be my turn signal...

If one of your rear bulbs is burnt out then the signals will react this way. 2007 is not very old of a car for a signal delay problem. It would be more likely a bulb.

The blinkers flash realy fast. i checked allthe bulbs

Have you checked the flasher relay under the dash? I'll assume it's a Bonneville, but no year has been posted therefore I can't give you an exact location. There is one for the turn signal and another for the 4 way flashers.

01 durango , how do you reset the fuel pump ?

two entirely different problems going on,
when a bulb is blown out of a circuit the resistance is less,so the current doesn't do as much so its faster, put your turn signal on to the other side, check how many lights are blinking, then count them in the rear, now put turn signal to left side and compare number of lights blinking.you'll be missing one,
if your truck is turning over good, there is no reason to jump it,you need to see if your missing spark at plugs while your cranking it over,if you do then you need to check fuel pressure at rail, you will need at least 55psi for truck to run.

When one side blinds faster than the other, the side than blinks faster means a light bulb burnt or not making contact. Are u sure the hazard light are the same with the blinkers

Turn signal wont flash is not blinking

If you mean autozone sold you a socket looking thing, that's possibly a relay? That doesn't go in the fuse panel area. If you have your manual there should be a diagram of the relays. I don't have the same vehicle, but the relays are just above and to the left of my brake pedal. I could be wrong and what you have is not a relay, but not blinking could be a blinker relay problem.
