I could not find Model and Year of your except that it was Toyota. I took example of Camry. Circuits are more or less same principle on all Toyota. If you are unable to fix then let me exact Model, year and engine size to help you further.

1. Remove the fuses for the high beam high light bulbs and verify that the lights go out. The fuses are in the engine compartment junction box and labeled H-LP(LH) and H-LP(RH). If the lights don't go out, check the wires to the headlight bulbs for short to voltage

2. Check the input from the main body ECU to the engine compartment junction box, the Violet wire in connector 1D pin 8 should have 10 to 14 volts with the dimmer switch in thelow beam position. In the high beam and high flash position, it should be below 1 volt.

3. Verify that the Pink wire connector 1D pin 9 has 10 to 14 volts when the headlight switch is off and with the switch on, it should be below 1 volt. If this circuit has the correct voltage readings the engine room fuse box may be faulty.

Replace the turn signal switch. All exterior lights run threw it, except the high mount brake light.

My problem is when I turn on the headlights, the parking lights comes but not the headlights, but when I hold the turn signal switch / highbeam to the rear the driving lights comes on but I will have to...

you might just have two bad low beam headlights, I have seen it before. Only other problem would be the switch that turns on the headlights is bad. Best way is to Test power going into the headlight when the low beams are turned on to rule out the switch.

My headlight-high beam does not work . its just that the highbeam does not come on

Probably the highbeam switch itself but check to see if there is a seperate fuse for the highbeams and if it's blown figure out why

Headlights go out

If your Highbeam Switch is on your streering colum (turn signal lever) Thats where I would start too look! It could be the wires to the highbeam switch. I had that happen on my ford. But if the highbeam switch is on the floor, check for a bad circut connection and if that checks ok it might be your main headlight switch! Even though you may not loose your highbeams, your main headlight power still runs through that highbeam switch, and being on the colum thats why the would start to function when you move the shifter.

2002 mustang highbeam headlights stop working highbeam indecator comes on how to fix problem

It could be the bulbs are out or the switch is bad or the wiring or a fuse. Diagnosing needs to take place.

My 02 monte carlo right headlight is not as brite as my left headlight..n then on my meter some orange lite comes on and it says....highbeam i got a new pair of highbeam bulbs....and still i have...

If the bulb is dim as the other one was it is not the bulb. The problem that you have is that the ground is loose or corroded and has to be repaired. Use a test light see which wire is the ground and run a jumper to test that the ground fixes the problem. (it should) If the problem is fixed youcan trace the wire to find the other end or just run a new wire.

Running lights do not come on , highbeams do not come on

You are in luck! This is an easy problem to fix. Simply stop shifting the vehicle into Drive, then you won't need running lights.

Good luck, my friend.

I need the name of the actual switch on the wheel

You knew the name of it, it's in your question, highbeam switch! Ahhh... the good old days... the highbeam switch was foot operated, remove 2 screws, unplug wire, that was all there was to fixing it.
